Updates from Annual meeting held on 6th Dec 2011
To All,
WFHA completed its annual meeting on 6th Dec at Novi Public Library.
WFHA Board thanks Novi library for their overwhelming gesture to let us conduct our business in their premises as well as for the wonderful tour of the facility.
Board thanks all of those who had been present and extends appreciation to those who had acknowledged.
Board conducted the proceedings in accordance with the governing regulations.
Participants were briefed on activities this Board had undertaken during the year and also outlined some of the ongoing and planned activities for next year.
Your Board completed the following projects during the year 2011.
Completed dredging all four major ponds, cleared all the cattails and other growth (still under progress and expected to be completed by this weekend)
This now paves way for us to maintain a healthy level of water retention (two to three feet) and easy maintenance to prevent any types of growth in the years to come
Cleared the clog on all four ponds, paving way for water to drain into the ponds with no blocks
Repaired and reconstructed end-sections and water outlet on five different ponds
Created an electrical outlet on the Ten Mile entrance boulevard, enabling us to light up all the trees first time ever ( we still have some tripping issues that are being addressed)
Since we had a three year lock in with our current landscape firm, your Board had adequate funds to undertake all critical maintenance work
Projects for the year 2012
Major repairs have to be undertaken to all 11 pillars and monuments at both the entrances on Meadowbrook Road
Iron fence that spans between these 11 pillars have completely rusted, requires adequate repair and maintenance (may require to be replaced at some sections)
Focus more attention to other landscaping issues / enhancements to reduce recurring cost over the years ( go in for stone bark and perennial flowers)
More updates will flow through as we go along.
Attached is the summary of budget / expenses for the year 2011.
Annual dues for the year 2012 will be finalized in due course and be communicated to you shortly.

Board has mailed a ballot to each of you on an important matter related to phase IV.
